CHEESECAKE-NEW YORK STYLE

This is the best tasting cheesecake recipe on the planet. It's so thick and delicious, no one will be able to resist this cheesecake! I made this for a dinner party, as the dessert of course, and it was devoured in no time at all. Every one is always asking me for this cheesecake recipe.




New York Style Cheesecake

Ingredients:

CRUST:

10 whole graham crackers, any flavor (crushed)
3 1/2 tbsp. butter (softened)
3 1/2 tbsp. sugar
Mix all ingredients together and press into a 9 inch spring form pan. Bake on 325 degrees for about 12 minutes.

FILLING:

5- 80z. pkgs. Philadelphia cream cheese (softened)
1 cup of sugar
3 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. vanilla extract
1 cup of sour cream
4 eggs
1. Beat cream cheese, sugar, flour, and vanilla extract, until well blended.
2. Add sour cream and mix well
3. Add eggs one at a time a mix well after each one
4. Pour into spring form pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until center is almost set.
5. Loosen cake from pan, and let cool then remove outer edge ring from the pan.
6. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours.
 
SOUR CREAM FROSTING:

1/3 cup of real stick butter (softened)
3 cups of confectioners sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tsp. vanilla
1. Mix together butter and sugar until well blended.
2. Add sour cream and vanilla, beat until smooth and spreadable.
3. Frost the top of the sweet cheesecake, before refrigerating.
